美智庵へようこそ
I'm so glad you've stopped by.
I grew up in Nara, Japan and I’ve been cooking and caring for family and friend since the age of three! I fully embraced all of the traditional foods and mindful practices of my native country. After years of corporate life, I decided to pursue a career in nutrition and became a registered dietician (RDN) and integrative functional nutrition practitioner (IFNCP). I love sharing plant-based Japanese cooking and chado, the traditional tea ceremony.
As a Japanese Functional Nutritionist, my passion lies in educating, and my message is simple and authentic: cook whole plant-based meals at home.
I also recognize that we are all different. That is why I recommend basic meal plans and cooking methods that your unique body may want to choose in the healing journey.
There are some favorites! Everyone loves my everyday miso soup and seaweed salad... because it's easy and adjustable to your needs.
Cook Well, Eat Well, Love yourself, and have a bowl of matcha with me!
Let’s work together.
I offer individual and group consultations, Japanese cooking and mindful eating classes, and nutrition education workshops.
