The Peacefulness through the Way of Living.

The Dearest Urasenke Grand- Master The Peacefulness through a bowl of matcha and his way of live..., The Priceless Lessons from Grandmaster in happy longevity.

When I have a chance to meet the grand master of Urasenke Chanoyu (Hōunsai - Daisosyo 鵬雲斎大宗匠) I freezed, and then immediately, I was pulled in to his peaceful spiritual world. He was so pure, cheerful, humble….., and powerful.

At the age of hundred, Daisoshyo continues traveling all over the world promoting world peace with a bowl of matcha. With his straight pasture, clear and strong voice, and smile…., no one believes his biological age is three digits, 100.

Secret…, there is none. He said he is just simply continuing his responsibility as the 15th generation grand master of Urasenke while acting as United Nation and UNESCO Peace Ambassador…, with one principal; A Peacefulness through a Bowl of Matcha.”

Daisosyo visited Manhattan to offer the Peace Tea Ceremony at Untited Nation ( Sep.13, 2023_) followed by meeting Mr. Henry Kissinger, plus he generously appeared to cheer up his fellow tea pupils ( I am one of them !!!). Then, immediately he flew back to Kyoto, Japan to continue his busy schedule.

It’s almost whole day trip from Kyoto to NYC…, thirteen hours jet-lag…, so, as you can imagine…, it’s not easy trip. As far as I know…, this is his 3rd overseas after Australia in June and Hawai in July. He said that he has no jet lag from his navy training in WWII and can sleep anywhere. For him, being a hundred years old is nothing special because he should have died once in WWII, so…, he is simply conducting his mission, promoting world peace and Japanese tradition to the world. “ A peacefulness through a bowl of Matcha.”

When you hold a tea bowl, small circle, it’s a small world with green tea, green is an essential element of not only human-being, but also our earth.

Longevity principles I have learned:

  1. Have compassion “ Ikigai”

  2. Daily routine, start early, stretching, and sleep well

  3. Daily Matcha and tea practice

  4. Balanced diet with daily miso soup

  5. Being spiritual

So on

There will be more…, but I think if I can add one more, communicating with boundless people could exchange limitless cheer and energy with each other.

Now…, as an ambassador of happy longevity…, now I add a little specipic, “Happy Longevity with a bowl of Yakuzen Miso Soup.” Happy life has no complaining, no argument, no discrimination. Let’s make harmony with a bowl of Yauzen Miso Soup with you and your family, community, and family.

Back to the beginning. Is there anything you are too old to start? Promoting and writing my message, “Happy longevity with authentic wisdom,” to audiences I do not know was not easy for me. Now, I do believe it’s my joy and mission to promote happy longevity with authentic Yakuzen meals. If I can do it…, we all can.

Thanks for reading. Love and Peace.
